Upcoming Events
Each month, Crystal City Circle organizes and presents a Saturday workshop at the Corning library and typically holds a public sabbat celebration for each of the eight sabbats of the Wheel of the Year. Events are posted on Facebook and here.
Past workshops have included topics such as tarot, divination, herbalism, sigils, astrology, book binding, & dream work. There is no fee to attend our events and workshops are presented by volunteers from the community that have experience in the topic. You may be required to bring your own materials/tarot decks for certain events, but those details will be listed. All sabbat and seasonal celebrations have a shared feast, and everyone is welcome to bring a dish to share.
Mabon/Autumn Equinox Sabbat Celebration – Fox Spirit
Friday, September 25, 2026 @ 6pm-9pm
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Big Flats – 48 Hibbard Road Ext N, Big Flats, NY 14814, United States
Join us to celebrate the Autumn Equinox/Mabon, the second harvest in the Wheel of the Year – a time to notice and appreciate the turning of the wheel into a new season. Our ritual will center on the Fox Spirit, and how the Fox embodies the observant, adaptable energy we hope to bring into this autumn season, helping us embrace a time that is marked by both stillness and change. Our ritual will center around a Bardic Circle – members have prepared several tales and myths to share from across cultures around the fire.
Please bring:
– an item you have foraged or a trinket to add to a basket of found and foraged objects to use during ritual
– a blanket if you want to sit outside to eat after ritual
– an item for the Shared feast afterward (home made or store bought/simple or complex, all is welcome)
Any donations for CCC’s future events is always appreciated for anyone who is able. A Venmo code will be available on site to use. But, as always, if you aren’t able to bring any of the above, bring yourself and your energy to join with us!
